"Imminence"   Sorry Not for Sale.
Acrylic on canvas-board.

"Biddy and Al's Painting - Ora"  Sorry not for Sale.
Acrylic and glitterpaint on hardboard.
This painting was a thank you gift painted especially for my lovely 'Patrons of the Arts' who gave me a key to their house and let me use their rumpus room as a studio.
The heart represents the unconditional love shown by these two lovelies, the purple tones represent their spirtual journey, the glitter for the 'sparkles' of friendship, the words speak for themselves and are: Communication, Aroha (love), Trust, Courage, Kaha (strength), Peace, Calm, Love, Hugs and Ora (life/health).

"Waiata's Graduation Painting"  Sorry Not for Sale.
Acrylic on hardboard in a recycled photo frame.

This painting was a gift for my daughter on her attaining her degree for her graduation.
The three elements represent my daughter's Maori/Ngati Porou heritage at the top, all the  influences in her life in the middle (the four elements: air, fire, water and earth, shown in a Siapo four petal flower pattern) and a Manaia representing protective/supportive influences in her life, such as our close relationship.

"Mana Island"  Sorry Not for Sale.
Acrylic on hardboard in a recycled photo frame.  It is based on a photo of Mana Island, just off the coast north of Wellington, NZ.
This was painted for my lovely friend Stacey and her hubby as a wedding/first anniversary present and represents the style I usually work in when doing landscapes.  I hope to do a series of paintings motivated by beautiful local places.
